DESCRIPTION:Healing Los Angeles Together (HLAT) is proud to partner with the ING Fellowship for a crucial \nWeek of Action to champion the Inglewood For All Act. Our immigrant neighbors in Inglewood and the surrounding South Bay have faced increased targeting by federal immigration enforcement agencies. Now is the time for our community to unite\, advocate for local sanctuary protections\, and demand that the Inglewood Mayor and City Council take a stand. \nWhat is the Inglewood For All Act? The “Inglewood For All Act” is a proposed local ordinance designed to fortify protections for immigrant communities in the City of Inglewood. By adopting these protections—similar to those in Los Angeles\, Huntington Park\, and Cudahy—Inglewood can demonstrate true leadership. If passed\, this critical piece of legislation will: \nProhibit the use of city resources for federal immigration enforcement. \nRestrict immigration authorities’ access to non-public areas of city property. \nLimit the collection and sharing of residents’ sensitive\, personal information. \nProhibit new contracts with entities providing data to immigration authorities. \nEnsure extensive documentation and transparency if the Inglewood Police Department interacts with federal law enforcement. \nEvent Details \nDate: Tuesday\, April 14\, 2026 \nTime: 2:00 PM \nLocation: Inglewood City Hall\, 1 W Manchester Blvd\, Inglewood\, C \nA 90301 \nHow You Can Take Action We invite community members\, allies\, and local residents to join HLAT and the ING Fellowship in this Week of Action. There are three powerful ways you can help us advocate for this necessary ordinance: \n\n\nSubmit a Written Public Comment: Send an email to the Inglewood Mayor and City Council before 8:00 AM on April 14th to voice your support. \n\n\nGive Public Comment In-Person: Join us at Inglewood City Hall on April 14th at 2:00 PM to speak directly to city leaders. \n\n\nAmplify on Social Media: Raise awareness by tagging city officials and sharing our campaign graphics using the ING Fellowship toolkit. \n\n\nWhen localities protect all of their residents\, they see significant economic gains\, keep families together\, and make their communities safer.
