Our Mission
Pieces of a Greater Puzzle
Our mission is to reach the lost and bring healing by providing love and light to the city of Los Angeles.
We have seen the gaps in the systems that already exist. We've experienced the cracks and seen how people get lost in them. We provide services with empathy to those struggling with addiction, immigration, and reentry, and to those looking for resource navigation.
We believe HLAT is a puzzle piece that fills those gaps. Everyone has a story, and when we come together to share and help one another, we become pieces of a beautiful puzzle in Los Angeles, with the help of God.
Founder Spotlight
Herminia Galvez
Herminia founded Healing Los Angeles Together out of a conviction that the gaps in L.A.'s safety net, in addiction recovery, immigration, reentry, and resource navigation, are gaps the church and community are called to fill together.
Her vision drives HLAT's work across Skid Row, Inglewood, and South LA every week.
