Program Title: Narcan Training and Equipping: Overdose Response & Naloxone Training for Youth and Adults

Program Description:

Narcan Training and Equipping is a vital, hands-on training program designed to educate youth and adults on how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose using Narcan (naloxone), a life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of opioids in minutes.

This training empowers participants with the knowledge and skills to act confidently in emergency situations, helping to reduce stigma, save lives, and build stronger, more informed communities. Whether you're a student, parent, teacher, coach, peer leader, or community member—this program equips you with tools that truly make a difference.

What You’ll Learn:

  • What opioids are and how overdoses happen

  • Warning signs of an opioid overdose

  • Step-by-step instructions for administering Narcan

  • How to respond calmly and safely during an emergency

  • Good Samaritan laws and your legal rights when helping someone

  • How to access Narcan in your area

Who Should Attend:
Youth (13+), adults, families, educators, counselors, first-time responders, and anyone who wants to be prepared to help in the face of the opioid crisis.

Program Format:

  • 45-60 minute session (in-person or virtual)

  • Includes Q&A, demonstration, and free Narcan kits (when available)

  • Taught by certified trainers in a supportive, stigma-free environment

Program Title: Be FREE: Substance Abuse Awareness for Youth

Program Description:

Be FREE is an interactive, youth-centered substance abuse education program designed to give young people the knowledge, tools, and confidence to make smart, healthy choices. This program breaks down the facts about alcohol, vaping, tobacco, prescription drugs, and other substances in a way that’s real, relatable, and judgment-free.

Led by trained facilitators who know how to connect with youth, the sessions include open discussions, videos, role-playing, and activities that encourage honest conversations about peer pressure, mental health, and the impact of drugs and alcohol on your life and future.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How substances affect your body, brain, and decision-making

  • The truth behind common myths and peer pressure

  • How to handle tough situations and make positive choices

  • Where to turn for help—for yourself or a friend.
